The Rookies | Episode 3
The Rookies is a documentary series following nine amateur athletes with full-time jobs as they prepared for their first Ironman event (3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and then a 42km marathon). The five-part series was filmed over five months for sporting apparel brand 2XU.
For the third episode, The Rookies head to the country for a change of scenery in their monotonous training. In the latest training camp, rivalries emerge and they reveal how they deal with mental fatigue whilst ramping up training.
